Welcome to Gracepoint. We're glad you're considering visiting us. Let us introduce ourselves and give you a few tips on what to expect.
We're a non-denominational church located in Rockland County, New York. One unique thing about us is that our congregation is made up of people from a wide variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds, now representing over 70 different nationalities. We come together each week to encounter God through dynamic worship and Bible teaching.
Our vision is to significantly impact the spiritual and social atmosphere of Rockland County by growing and cultivating a Christ-centered, multi-cultural community characterized by love, acceptance, forgiveness and encouragement.
What to Expect
As our guest, we'll try to make sure you receive a warm welcome and plenty of guidance. An attendant will show you where to park. We have greeters at the door who can answer any questions and show you around. Ushers can help you find a seat. Don't worry, you won't feel lost.
A typical service begins with music. We have a choir and musicians who lead us as we sing modern worship songs together. After that, children are dismissed to their service, where they will get together for games, Bible stories and activities. Then, we'll dig into God's Word together with an engaging and relevant message.
By the end of the service, our hope is that you were able to put aside the burdens of modern life for a couple of hours, and encounter God's presence in a meaningful way.
