WOMEN'S CONNECT

Forming friendships with people to do life with is an important part of growing spiritually. You'll find support and be encouraged to be all God created you to be. Here at Gracepoint, we offer various groups to get involved with. Visit a group and make a meaningful connection.

Women of the Word Bible Study begins this Wednesday, September 13th with a showing of the DVD:

"In the Dust of the Rabbi - Becoming a Disciple"
"Follow a rabbi, drink in his words, and be covered with the dust of his feet.," says the ancient Jewish proverb.  Disciples followed so closely that they would be covered with the dust kicked up by the rabbi's feet.  Come discover how to follow Jesus as you walk with teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan through the breathtaking terrain of Israel and Turkey and explore what it really means to be a disciple.

Then for the remainder of September through December WOW will be doing:

"Disciples Path - The Journey" Volume #1
Disciples Path is a series of studies founded on Jesus' model of discipleship.  It offers an intentional pathway for transformational discipleship and a way to help followers of Christ move from new disciples to mature disciple makers.  Each study in the series is built on the principles of modeling, practicing and multiplying.
Leaders model the life of a biblical disciple.
Disciples follow and practice from the leader.
Disciples become disciple makers and multiply through the Disciples Path.

"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words,
but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not
rest on men's wisdom but on God's power."
                                                                                     1 Corinthians 2:4-5

SINGLES MINISTRY (Men and Women)
The Singles Ministry exists to support, encourage and disciple singles through spiritual-growth studies and monthly activities.

Food & Friendship:
Every fourth sunday of each month, 2pm. Discussions revolve around issues/concerns that effect single living. From these concerns we choose a topic. We discuss the topic over snacks provided by attendees.

Prayer Night:
Every first Saturday of the month we meet at 7:30pm to pray about issues that are concerning to us as singles and to our church, family and community.

Bi-weekly Bible Study:
Every other week we get together to learn more about God's Word and how it applies to our lives. See the Event Calendar to get the dates of our next study.

ANCHORS (50+ for Men & Women)
Our goal is to provide all seniors with opportunities to develop new relationships, explore old and new interests for involvement, contribute to the work of the Lord, and fulfill the following basic needs:
To be loved and appreciated
To do a useful and significant job.
To be accepted and respected as a group.
To gain information about various subjects, including health and finances.
To have recreational activities.

"The righteous man and woman will fourish like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green."  -Psalm 92:12-14
